Fair Competition Day: Guidelines on Environmental Claims - Peru
As part of its education initiatives for consumers and businesses, Indecopi - Peru has been working on guidelines regarding green or environmental claims displayed on the market. In this regard, after a period of open consultation, in which all interested stakeholders had the chance to give inputs or suggestions to the draft guidelines, Indecopi will be presenting the final document which includes recommendations and examples of good and bad practices regarding green claims for both businesses and consumers.
The event will go trough the presentation of the document, as well as meaningful interventions and discussions from representatives of our Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Environment Programme, as well as representatives from the private sector and consumers associations.
